Hotel Terms and Conditions

Arrival & Departure

We cannot be guaranteed that rooms will be available before 4.00pm on the day of arrival although the hotel will always try to accommodate guests who arrive early. Checkout time is 11.00 am.

Dress Dress Code: Dressing for dinner is part of the hotel experience. Smart / casual attire is required. Jackets for gentlemen are preferred. No shorts or sportwear.

Smoking

All bedrooms and suites are non-smoking rooms

Valuables

The management regrets that they cannot be held responsible for loss of or damage to any articles of value unless they are deposited at reception and a receipt has been obtained.

Car Parking

There is ample car parking at the Thurlestone Hotel but there is also limited undercover parking, which is available to reserve in advance for an additional £5.00 daily. (Please note all suites are automatically allocated undercover parking at no additional cost)

Room Service

Light refreshments are available from the Room Service menu 24 hours a day. Restaurant meals, i.e. Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner are also available in rooms during the times these meals are normally being served at an additional charge. In case of late arrival full cold suppers can be placed in the room with prior notice.

Windows and Balconies

Parents should be aware of the dangers of open windows and balconies in rooms where there are small children.

Travel Arrangements

Arrangements can be made to meet guests at Totnes or Plymouth Rail Stations, or Exeter Airport.

Dogs

Dogs are not allowed in any of the public areas of the hotel. Dogs may be accommodated in guest’s rooms at a charge of £20.00 per night excluding food. Dogs are not accepted in any of the Deluxe Rooms, Suites or the majority of the Premier Rooms. They are, however, welcome in all the Inland rooms or Sea View Rooms and a limited selection of the Premier Rooms.

Deposits

A deposit of £100.00 per person will be required to confirm bookings unless you reserve on-line when a deposit equivalent to the first nights’ accommodation will apply. All deposits will be credited to the account on arrival.

Cancellations

FREE cancellation up to fourteen days before arrival. For cancellations of less than fourteen days prior to arrival date the full charge of the stay will be incurred.

Payment

The hotel most major credit cards. Accounts are due for payment upon departure.

Service Charge

No service charge will be added. Gratuities are at your discretion.

Medical Conditions and Disability

Please advise reception of any disability or medical condition, including food allergies that could effect health or safety during a stay.

Spa Terms & Conditions

Arrival at the Voyage Spa

On arrival you will be shown the spa facilities and procedures. For treatments, please check in at the hotel reception.

Treatment Times and Booking Policy

We advise advance booking for all treatments. Pre-payment is required for spa days at the time of booking. Treatment times are detailed in the treatment menu and include consultation and changing time.

Health Conditions

When booking, we kindly ask that you inform us of any health conditions or if you are pregnant so that we can advise accordingly.

Spa Attire

For spa days, a robe, slippers, and towel are provided. These may be worn in the spa and treatment suite, and also in the lounge and Terrace Bar.

Cancellation Policy and Late Arrivals

Spa Days

Full payment is required upon booking your spa day. Should you need to cancel your spa day with less than 48 hours’ notice, no refunds will be given. For group bookings of three or more, we can hold your spa day reservation for up to 72 hours. Full payment will be required after 24 hours to secure your booking. The same cancellation and refund policy stated above applies.

Spa Treatments

Please note, if cancelling an appointment within 48 hours, full payment is required. If you are running late, a courtesy call will help us endeavour to achieve a full treatment time, but this may not always be possible.
